As you may have seen, Penarth Rugby Club clubhouse suffered a devastating fire early on the 1st December. Firemen brought it under control, but the memorabilia and photos from the club were lost.
The clubhouse was also home to Penarth Cricket & Athletic clubs.
Llanfair’s own Gareth Hubback who co-chairs the club said “Memorabilia can’t be replaced so we’re devastated for those” adding: “You can’t put a cost on memories.”
A crowdfunding appeal has been setup to help the club rebuild:
